On the 17th of March we will be holding the Caithness Junior Rugby Festival. It's a great occasion where primary school kids from all over the North of Scotland converge at Millbank for a day of rugby fun! Of course it's also takes a fair bit to organise so we are forming a team of volunteers to work with the coaches and make the day run as smooth as possible!
Here is a flavour of some of the types of tasks we need help with :
Coordinating the Meals
Preparing Food (Including Baking Donations)
Serving Food
Tidying Up
Coordinating the Matches
Make sure teams are in the right place at the right time
Capturing Scores and relaying to the Tournament Tent
Capturing mini match reports
Coordinating the Teams/Players
Caithness Coach support
Refereeing (Sometimes seen as a challenge but is the most rewarding activity of all!)
Referring support (They can't pretend to know the laws, keep the score and time!)
If you can lend a hand for even just a couple of hours please contact Tournament Co-ordinator Ken Macleod on the following:
