Let's get our Green on!

CRFC Internal Junior Tournament (08/08/21)
This Sunday the club will bring together the Junior sections from Wick and Thurso to allow us to separate into more specific age groups and provide a tournament experience.

Please aim to be at the Rugby Club (Beside Thurso Swimming Pool) at 11:00 where the first step will be to provide your Child’s contact details to our Covid Lead.

The length of the tournament will be very dependent on player numbers but expect a finish between 12:30 and 13:00.

With plenty of parking around the club please feel free to enjoy the morning and make yourself comfortable around the club where we will be offering Teas, Coffees, indoor and outdoor seating.

During tournaments, Boys and Girls play together but are separated into the following age groupings to balance the levels of physical maturity against appropriately modified versions of rugby.

P6/7 – Modified contact rugby
P4/5 – Modified contact rugby
P1/2/3 – Tag rugby

This will provide the Junior players and parents with a taste of competitive action, preparing them for the tournaments later in the season.

Players should bring the following:
1) Playing clothes that can get dirty!
2) Rugby Boots (or at minimum good gripping trainers) *
3) Mouth Guard
4) Water Bottle
*Take boots that don’t fit along and we can pass them on to a younger green

We really want to make this feel like your club and it’s important you are able to play your part in it. If your speciality is baking please feel free to do your finest and bring it along on the day. If you feel you can lend a hand with any non-rugby activities please just let us know by messaging the Caithness Rugby FC Facebook page or ask on the day and we will gladly take you up on the offer.
