What can I say , one of the closest contests we have seen at Millbank in quite a while . With the score locked at 24-24 at half time both teams gave it their all with the greens just edging it in the second half . Both teams lost players to the bin in a nail biting second half forcing greens coach Tom McGee to pull on his boots for a second successive week . We also lost man of the match ( selected by match sponsors for the day JGC engineering and technical services ) Roddy Gray with a nasty gash to his face , don't worry his looks have not been affected .
Scorers for the day were Roddy Gray x 2 , Hamish Coghill , Grant Anderson , Evan Sutherland and Marc Anderson with Marc scoring 5 conversions and 2 penalties from the boot .
