The Greens sit proudly at the top of the Caledonian League tonight after a convincing win over the men from Banff. In what could be described as a scrappy affair on a heavy pitch in Thurso the Greens defended stoutly to keep the sheet clean. Two yellow cards for the home team were the only negatives in the five point home win. Tries from Man of the Match Kris Hamilton (3) , Marc Anderson (2) , Evan Sutherland, Rhys Taylor, and Andrew Nicholson made up the scoring with Marc scoring 4 conversions and Craig Chambers scoring 1 to complete a good home win.
A special mention to Michael MacGregor and Ruaridh MacKay who played their first Caledonian league match for the Greens, both are fruits of our youth system. Well done everyone.
