Moray (U14) 19 Caithness(U14) 56
Caithness U14s show class in their opening game of the season with a 56-19 win in Moray but it wasn't all good news. On leaving Caithness early on Saturday morning the S2 coaches were in a dilemma as to whether or not to go with only 8 players turning up for the bus and 2 expected to meet them at Moray. A frantic call to Moray meant that they agreed to loan the Caithness team some players in order that the match could go ahead.
The first try came just 2 minutes in by Jordan Miller which was his first of 5. He was also involved in a very well executed team performance which ended with Michael Elder touching down under the posts. Best try of the day came for a fanatic run from Aiden Sinclair a 60m hard chased run ending in a superb try. The Caithness boys dominated the game and thoroughly deserved their win.
